Microfiction Mondays:
Fiction in fifteen words or less

Wait—what? Fiction in fifteen words or less?

Yes, that’s right. Back in 2022, the Alliance of Independent Authors issued a challenge: craft a winning story in just ten words. Always a sucker for a flash fiction challenge, I couldn’t help myself and jumped right in and entered with the small but mighty tale:

“Dragon fed, but need new wizard. Sorry about the castle.”

To my delight, this little ditty won one of the four prizes awarded! This mad little endeavour sparked the beginning of a “Microfiction Monday” series, featured on my social media channels.

Coming soon:
The Microfiction Shop

After a year of crafting these succinct stories, I closed that chapter on social media but I’m thrilled to announce that new Microfiction is coming! But this time, your favourite micro-stories will be incorporated into bookmarks, stationery, magnets and other goodies, available in the upcoming Microfiction Shop.

All new microfiction will be released in collections, centered around a theme. These collections will not only include favorites from the old weekly posts, but also new tales that continue to push the boundaries of brief yet amusing storytelling.
